This slotted spring pin, often called a roll pin or tension pin, is a hollow cylindrical fastener designed for press-fit installation into drilled holes for mechanical alignment and fastening. Made from hardened high-carbon spring steel and zinc-plated for corrosion resistance, it has a nominal diameter of 5/32″ and a length of 1″.
