Description
Description: This is a Type 1 flat cut-off wheel designed for high-speed cutting applications in metalworking environments. It is constructed with aluminum oxide abrasive grains, bonded with a reinforced resin matrix and fiberglass mesh. This product is made with synthetic aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃), a hard ceramic abrasive grain. It is not made of aluminum metal.
It is made for cutting ferrous metals including carbon steel, mild steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and rebar. It can cut aluminum, copper, and brass, but those materials may clog the wheel and reduce its efficiency, making it unsuitable for prolonged or high-volume non-ferrous use.
